Applications

There are no one-size-fits-all gloves — different types of gloves are suitable for different applications. It is important to take occupational hazards, safety consideration, and the comfort of the user into account when choosing a glove.

Now let’s look at the types of gloves that would fit your needs best.

Household

Household gloves are made of premium natural latex that provides excellent tactility, elasticity and resistance to tearing. Designed for better hand care and protection, household gloves are flocklined for easy donning, added comfort and better absorption of perspiration. The beadings in this type of glove improve tear resistance, while the superior grip pattern gives excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions.

  • Thickness: 9 – 20mil (0.23 – 0.55 mm)
  • Lining: Flocklined / Unlined

Industrial

Gloves made for industrial use are more durable and designed for better hand care and protection. Made with premium natural latex that provides outstanding tactility, elasticity and resistance to tearing, these gloves are usually flocklined for easy donning as well as to give added comfort and better absorption of perspiration. Industrial gloves also come with beading to improve tear resistance, and superior grip pattern to ensure an excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions.

For industries that need gloves that protect against chemicals, Neoprene blended material is used to provide better resistance.

Food Processing

Gloves used in the food processing industry is usually made of nitrile or natural rubber.
Nitrile gloves provide outstanding protection in both oil and acid-based conditions and have superior resistance to abrasion, cut and puncture. Latex-free and allergy-free, it is strong, flexible and durable. Our ULWU9 range of nitrile glove for food processing is ultra-thin to provide better sense of touch and beaded for improved tear resistance.
Meanwhile, natural rubber gloves are made with premium natural latex to provide excellent tactility, elasticity and resistance to tearing. Designed for better hand care and protection, this type of glove is unlined for hygiene and smoother hand feel and beaded to improve tear resistance.

  • Thickness: 9 – 22mil (0.23 – 0.55 mm)
  • Lining: Unlined

Chemical Resistance

There are two types of chemical-resistant gloves – nitrile and natural rubber.
Nitrile gloves are made of premium nitrile that provides outstanding protection against chemicals, oils and acid-based solvents. To provide added safety and security, it is highly-resistant to abrasion, cut and puncture. Nitrile gloves are latex-free and allergy-free and is made of flockline for easy-donning, added comfort and better absorption of perspiration.
Meanwhile, thicker premium natural rubber are used to provide extra protection in heavy-duty applications. This natural rubber gloves offer superior resistance against selected acids, solvents, strong detergent, oil and greases, and provide excellent tactility and good resistance to abrasion. It is flocklined for easy donning, added comfort and better absorption for perspiration.
